Operating Platform for a Construction & Architecture Studio
A web + WhatsApp platform that runs construction projects end to end — budgets, procurement, contractors, cashflow — with first-class ARS/USD accounting.
Problem
An architecture and construction-PM studio was running its projects across dozens of spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads, with construction and finances living in separate places — and every financial number distorted by mixing ARS and USD in a high-inflation economy. Three very different users needed one shared source of truth: PMs and architects on desktop, contractors over WhatsApp from the field, and clients checking a clean financial summary.
My Role
I work across the whole platform — backend, frontend, database and the WhatsApp integration — with heavy AI-assisted development (Claude Code) as my primary way of building. I own features end to end, from data model to what the user sees, and take part in the architecture decisions behind them.
What I Work On
- End-to-end feature work. I take features from data model through backend to frontend and deployment, across the project-management, procurement, contractor and cashflow areas of the product.
- Trustworthy financials in two currencies. A core part of the work is making financial reporting reliable in a context where ARS and USD move constantly — treating the exchange rate as a first-class concern rather than an afterthought.
- Multiple interfaces over shared data. The product serves desktop users, on-site contractors over WhatsApp, and clients — so I work on keeping one consistent source of truth across very different surfaces.
- AI-assisted product work. Sheltr includes an AI copilot, and I build heavily with agentic AI tooling — which means a lot of my work is directing AI to produce features and then reviewing, correcting and integrating what it generates.
